Aikido of Marin is affiliated with Hombu Dojo in Japan through the California Aikido Association.
Aikido of Marin is a member of the California Aikido Association, Division 3, headed by Robert Nadeau, Shihan, 7th Dan. Nadeau Sensei was a direct student of Morihei Ueshiba O'Sensei and teaches at City Aikido, Aikido of Mountain View and Aikido of San Jose.
Aikido of Marin was founded by Richard Moon Sensei, 5th Dan in the 1970's.
Moon Sensei turned Aikido of Marin over to Michael Braden Sensei, 3rd Dan in 2005.
Michael Braden Sensei partnered with Jeff Kato Sensei, 1st Dan to share teaching duties.
